What’s up Warriors and today I’m going to be discussing my choice for game of the year.
2019 draws close to an end and we’ve had many and I mean many of games that have been released this year and we’ve had some good ones and some bad ones but this list will have the nominable mentions before I get to my choice for the number one spot.
So before I get on with the list there will be some games that won’t be mention that may be in your list but that may because I haven’t played it or it wasn’t for me but let me know in the comments below what game you would choose for Game of the Year.
Rage 2 (3 out of 5)
This game was pretty fun to play and made me think of the original and how much it has grown since and it probably Bethseda’s best release for a while with the help of Avalanche Studios and I also think that this put Mad Max to shame as well as the original Rage game at the time felt like Mad Max, I was going to do a review on this game but the article got pushed back and back and then became a deleted article never the less it was a fun game the only flaw was it got a little easy with the powerups and upgrades so it didn’t make my Game of the Year but a solid 3/5 Stars.
Days Gone (3 out of 5)
This game was a good exclusive for the Playstation and I was really excited to play this even though I didn’t get it straight on release which was a good thing with all the bugs and problems with the game it would of put it off of me but this game was fun and challenging and creative as well and basically but The Walking Dead within its own context of the game. The story was quite solid and gameplay was fun but after about 1.5 days of playing, I did get bored and just put it down. But I can’t knock this game it really did bring something to the table.
Far Cry New Dawn (4 out of 5)
This game was amazing to play and I and Emily played this together and it was really fun we enjoyed driving around finding the hidden items, side quests, outposts and the story itself it was so good that I think I was only 2 or 3 trophies off Platinuming the game! The only thing for me with this game was it was too short in the story. But I suppose that’s what the side quests were for. Either way great game from Ubisoft and made me want to play the other Farcry’s again.
Now before I go on to my Game of the Year I would also like to mention The Outer Worlds however I’ve not played it enough to be in the notable mentions yet but I also think I’ll be doing a review on this after I’ve played it a little more.
My Game of the Year!
My game of the year is something that is something I don’t play that often but is always in my heart when it comes to the franchise and when I heard they were doing the “remake” I was a little excited as well I never played this game all the way through so I was determined to do so this time. Anyway, when I got the game and installed it and started playing it, it felt like I never left the game only took a break from it and everything on this game was on par.
Now I don’t really like putting a remake as my game of the year but when they said remake they basically rebuild the whole game just keeping the story with little new addons within it. So to me, it’s a brand new game with an old story.
If you haven’t guessed my Game of the Year yet then shame on you! (I’m joking)
Resident Evil 2 “Remake” (5 out of 5)
Well I’ve given this a 5 out of 5 in the review I did back in March and my mind still hasn’t been changed. Let’s roll on the Resident Evil 3 Remake!
