Billie Eilish – My Future Review

What’s up Warriors! Rob here and today I’m going to be discussing Billie Eilish’s new song that was only released yesterday! (30/07/2020)

So it’s been a while since I’ve done a review on a song but a nice song to get me back into reviewing music, so let’s begin.

So the song begins with a little rain intro and straight into the singing and from what I heard straight away it felt like a Lana Del Rey and Billie mash-up which I thought was pretty good.

The Vocal range is the same as “Everything I Wanted” and “No Time to Die” which isn’t a bad thing and shows us the direction she may be going with future releases.

The Instruments on this track is mellow and relaxed until about halfway through the song where the beat completely changes as well as the singing style giving the song a more upbeat feel.

Music Video

The music video I thought was quite cool and I definitely got Studio Ghibli from this straight off the bat, and I’ve noticed more artists are doing animated videos for their music as it’s more creative and colourful and I think it catches your eye more.

Out of Five?

So last year in March I did a little post on Billie Eilish becoming the next Nirvana (Post Here) and since writing that post her music has been blowing up everywhere and even got a James Bond Theme song as well. I still think in a way she will be the new generation Nirvana and I think her music will be here to stay for a while.

This song was nice to listen to and flows quite well and reminds me of her newer music it is very similar but there’s nothing wrong with that.

I’m giving this a 3/5 Stars!
